A native of Jamaica, Hyacinth graduated with her Bachelor of Science from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York City, where she was a member of The International Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau. Upon graduating, she obtained a Master of Science in nursing from Kennesaw State University in Georgia in 2004. She then became board certified as a family nurse practitioner in 2005 and recently obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 2018.
